Hello and welcome to our website!!
This site was originally started in 2002 when we had only 2 working type cocker spaniel pets Zac and Sophie. Both of whom can be seen on the site. Sophie unfortunately passed away but it was then that my passion for cockers grew. I bought Floss in 2005 not long after Sophie died then the rest followed at rather short intervals. Floss no longer lives with us she moved in with a relative in May 2009.
We have owned dogs all of our lives as pets but our cockers are now our main interest. We are located in an old mining village just out side of Durham City where our dogs, alongside our family take up most of our spare time. We have a small hobby kennel. We ARE NOT expert/professional trainers or breeders but with the help and guidence of good friends and mentors Colin is now doing well with the training and working. I (Nicola) look after the dogs welfare and occasionally we may have a litter of pups. We aim to produce sound, healthy, happy pups that will be good working dogs that will also make equally good pets. We may have puppies available approx twice a year. Depending on the girls seasons, their health and shooting seasons.
Our dogs are all given the opportunity to work when ever possible. Some better than others ( I hasten to add!!) However they are still much loved pets and part of our family.
