Zac was my first cocker he came from a litter of 12 pups from Middlestone Moor, Co Durham bred by Susan Atkinson.He is from good working cocker lines, with Field Trial Champions such as: Jade of Livermere,Gwibernant Snake,Jasper of Parkbeck and dogs out of the Jordieland and Wernffrwd kennels (to mention just a few) appearing on his pedigree.(see pedigree page ) However I wanted him as a pet.

Zac was the biggest pup in his litter and has become a big dog , more like a small Springer. He is a gentle giant, so placid and laid back. He is very obedient and in his early days has rosettes at our local obedience training class. He is a blue roan and looks very smart when he has had his coat trimmed,but he loves water and will seek out even the smallest puddle to swim in and get wet and muddy.

He likes to chase toys and dummies and retrieve them to hand. In more recent times since getting 'the girls' he has done a bit of gundog training and has has a couple of days out in the beating line and has done surprisingly well. He just isn't very refined!!!!!
